Pride guys can Fight UFC guys IF both (and vice versa)

organizations come to an agreement... correct?.. Even if they are still under contract? Lets say for a one fight deal, as long as the one organization gets some kinda cut in the PPV and attendance revenues? Because if the 2 big wig organizations like Pride and UFC colaborate, I mean it wouldnt only be very profitable for both organizations but also better for the SPORT of MMA. Which should be the ultimate goal. I like where they're going with the Chuck vs Wandy thing... I like it.

As long as both can make a profit out of it, it can and should happen.

Anybody with more knowledge than TUF 1 should know that Silva is better than Liddell. And the whole debate is pretty pointless because the american market is kinda small compared to the japanese.

Thats basically the goal at hand... You scratch my back (Pride) and I scratch yours (Ufc).. and we both make a butt load of money together while smoking cigars and drinking crystal.... while furthering the sport of MMA and attracting more fans and more ppv's.

even wanderlei silva said that the american mma market looks like it'll be the big market of the future. i think PRIDE will adjust their business plan, just as the UFC will, to not only further the sport, but to also increase their profits. The UFC wants to go international, to do that, they need access to more talent. PRIDE wants a chunk of the US market, to do that, they'll need to market themselves, the best way to do that, is to ride the coattails of the number one org. Thus, they'll work together, we'll see some awesome matches, and everyone will be happy.

As far as "everyone with more knowledge than TUF 1 should know Silva is better than Liddell....etc." That's debateable. Wand had pretty much ZERO success in the Octagon. Chuck, just as little in the Ring. So, we'll see who the best is, in November. With some luck.
