Predictions on fighters in the DSE "class action" lawsuit?

MY guess is that we will see both Hunt and Barnett as participants.

Hunt, because he's too big for the UFC's HW division, and would have to cut weight. Not to mention he would have fly to the USA to fight as opposed to the 10 hour flight to Japan.

And Barnett, because he's too upity to lower himself to fighting in the UFC (read: they know I blew the 'roid test and left town).

I would be surprised to see Japanese fighters like Yoshida and Nak get in on the ambulance chasing here.

Any others you can think of?

Barnett should just get over himself and fight in the UFC heavyweight division. They have some good matchups and keep deepening their roster. Barnett has already been cleared to fight (at least in Nevada) and he should be thankful for that. Yeah, the UFC is different than PRIDE FC. So fucking what? Earn a nice payday while you do what you enjoy doing - fighting.

If Barnett can market himself nicely, he can bank just like Liddell; Ortiz; Hughes (despite what many think of him); St. Pierre; etc.

Barnett, Fedor, Wanderlei.
Barnett for reasons already stated.
Fedor because his contract was non exclusive and the Fertitas were trying to make it exclusive.
Wanderlei because I know he recently took a pay cut, and said hes going to sit out for a year. Coincidence?

Barnett would obviously fight in UFC if they changed their scoring system and started allowing knees to the head.

I commend him, and think he is right to want to test himself only under honorable circumstances. You shouldn't be forced to fight by someone else's rules, by God's sake!

I just hope the lawsuit somehow results in nova-Pride resembling its former self.

Nobody is forced to fight by anyone's rules, you have to agree to it first. You make it sound as if Barnett has no choice and Dana White is going to force Barnett to play by his rules.

This PRIDE thing is becoming a huge mess and an embarasment to MMA.

Am I'm the only one who feels that the Fertittas are going to let PRIDE disolve away and the whole Super Bowl talk in actuality is just B.S?

How the fuck is that "ambulance chasing"?

You do realize that in Pride he had to fight by their rules, right?
