Shake yourselves- just cause he KO'd James Irvin it doesn't make him a monster at 205. Not just that, but Kang gives him a hell of a fight and I have a feeling that Anderson v Cung Le would never even go to the ground as they would go at it standing up just to see who is best. And in a battle of strikers, you never know.

I hate Rampage, but yes, I have to admit I do think he'd pose problems for A. Silva.

I call that picking apart. especially the way he was lighting up Rashad's leg. Rashad was switching stances to protect the leg from time to time. 1 or 2 more rounds like that and Rashad's leg would have been useless. And that is from Forrest. Give Anderson Silva your leg like that and you wont be walking for a week after 1 minute of work.

My point is that rounds means nothing to fighters who approach the fight as a whole. Who cares if Forrest might have won the first two rounds, Rashad didn't get lucky, he timed Forrest's kick and brought him down and punishing him into TKO/quasi-submission. I like how you mentioned that he switch stances for a fleeting moment and that's indicative of an automatic win in future rounds. It clearly didn't add up because Rashad didn't allow it to go to further rounds when he figured out Forrest.
Anyhow tell me the last fighter(s) that Anderson Silva chopped down with his kicks? Using your "Forrest was winning until he lost" logic - a dehydrated Travis Lutter was able to take down Silva and mount him, then a bigger faster Rashad can easily mount him and pound him out.

As crazy as this sounds and as shot as Chuck seems, I think he has the style to beat Anderson. I am not even a Chuck fan, in fact I think he is played out.

you do know anderson ws hurt going into that fight? also lutter has much, much, much better bjj than evans. fyi lutter also took down both lindalnd (lindland is a much better wrestler than evans) & rich, and mounted both of them.
evans couldnt keep bisping down, do you really think he can hold anderson down?

That's alot of T/KO's haha.
He would beat Kang and Cung.
He would lose to Rashad and Rampage imo.
Against Liddell and Machida its a toss up

machida is the only one with a real shot but as he knows him so well but that fight will never happen, chuck is to old now and would get ko'd, rashad would get exposed, rampage would get ko'd as would kang and cung lee is to inexperienced and its one thing beating jason von flue and another fighting anderson
