Possibly the WORST commentary I've ever heard Werdrum V A.Emelianenko

This is actully pretty brilliant, look out for Werdums bag of tricks, also watch out for Werdum throwing all sorts of curves (as he takes some punches to the ribs)

Werdum manged some good "cross face" when he had Alex on his back, Werdum ends the fight when he gets in "a little sneaky move or two"

Why does Eurosport think that boxing commentaters can do mma?

Lol

Obviously Aleksander needs to focus his training on "little sneaky move or two" defense.

"OH he just got the choke on?! "

Every MMA fan could see that choke and submission coming from miles ahead. No surprise he tapped. Indeed an horrible commentator.

Cheick Kongo vs Gilbert Yvel Video - It's Showtime 2004 | MMA Videos

Can't believe this never gets a mention in terms of worst commentary.

LOL. I never knew you could win a fight with a sneaky move or two.

Yeah this guy is "Sensei Will Vanders". He's just awful. Aside from not knowing crap about the ground game, he has this horrific bias towards traditional martial arts (from his own karate background), and often tries to play up the idea that karate is a core element of MMA.

What is particularly spectacular is when he mixes up fighter names. He was commentating a replay of pride 19 I think it was, Dan Henderson vs Ricardo Arona, and ended up calling Arona "Antonio Rodrigo Arona".

He also commentates Shooto replays and he's just hopeless. Can't get the Japanese names right for shit. There's a Kawajiri fight where Crusher is fighting Shiiki and he ends up calling Shiiki the winner when Crusher chokes him out.

Ban Will Vanders from commentating!

Does anyone know why Aleks is always having to fool around with his mouthpiece during the fight?

Haha i have noticed that as well. Maybe it's just a quirk, like Fedor constantly rubbing his nose, or Mark Hunt adjusting his shorts.

the best one I saw was when the commentator was actually tell his buddy (a fighter) to kick and giving other directions

I remember at one point his buddy was getting punched in the face over and over and the commenator said he is really taking those strikes well

it was funny as hell
