Portuguese speakers: Which Brazilian fighters are well-spoken?
Just a curiosity--if you don't give a shit, try not to flame the ever loving shit outta me.
Since I only ever hear Brazilian fighters through their translators or in English as their second (or third) language, I was wondering which are well-spoken (e.g.: Couture, Barnett, Franklin) and who kind of ramble or just come off as meatheads (e.g.: insert hated fighter du jour here). Any insight would be appreciated.

Actually, based on just his intonation, the lack of pauses or "ums", I would guess Wanderlei speaks well. Again, I'd like to know what native-speakers of Portuguese think.
Someone else mentioned Renzo, which I think is a given since in English he comes off as intelligent and funny. I wasn't really thinking about the Gracies in this thread since they all speak English very well whereas I've never heard more than a few sentences in English from Arona, Wanderlei, Babalu, etc.

Babalu, Gonzaga, Shogun and Ninja talk like retards, both in how they sound and what they mean.
Wanderlei, Vitor Shaolin, Nog, and specially Vitor Belfort are very intelligent.
Anderson speaks reasonably, but he doesn´t say much.

Arona's english is actually pretty good in some interviews. He seems like a smart guy. It was funny watching him describe the 'plate' incident involving Wanderlei.

i dont know much proteguese, but i do know spanish, as my second language, and its pretty similar,i can actually sort of understand what anderson silva says in some of his interviews, lol
\
I have a question,do you think when bigger international fighters come to the ufc ( Fedor,Wandy, etc; if it were to happen )
That dana white would add something on theyre contract to enforce english to be more appealing to the american crowd?not necc be perfect at it,but like cro cop can actually speak and be understood?
Like anderson silva 90% of people hear him and are like wtf, perhaps speaking some english would set more of a connection for the casual fans.

I have no idea if there's precedent for language classes in any athlete's contract. I don't think it's an unreasonable demand, but I could see some athletes taking offense.
