Why does Vitor's bandwagon keep rolling so strongly? He hasn't done much in three years or more, yet his fans stay so loyal to him. This is very interesting to me, and very uncommon in the world of MMA.
Vitor is more like a football team whose fans follow through the bad years, just hoping the team is going to turn it around.
Discuss?

I'm proud to say we are amongst the most loyal fans in MMA. Vitor has had alot of events effect his mma career: his sister going missing then being found killed, being owned by Randy twice didn't help, and losing a decision to Tito which i adamantly believe Vitor got screwed on. I know he isn't what he used to be, but no matter what I'll be rooting for him.
I'll die a vitor fan.

I have a theory:
I think Vitor's bandwagon feeds off his mental strength, thus leaving him in the state he's been in for the most part of recent years...every once in a while the bandwagon grows thin because of too many consecutive losses or bad showings and we get to see the so called "Old Vitor" for one fight (like in the Eastman or Takahashi fights) and then the bandwagon reaches full power again and Vitor goes back to "New Vitor".
Like a reverse "Hulkamania"...
Ps. Don't take this post too seriously, I'm a Vitor-fan myself Ds.

And if he were to get after it he could probably do it again, but his time is running out
