People and their "Is x event even worth the money" comments
Is anyone else sick of people who post these stupid threads about fight cards being worth it? Seems like every event that the UFC puts on some tool has to make a thread complaining that the fights will suck and that they somehow need us to justify buying the card for them.
Honestly if you dont think the card is worth it, nobody is forcing you to buy it. However do us all a favour and dont come on the forums and bitch and complain about a card that hasnt even happened yet.
Its MMA, anything can happen. If you dont like it, stop watching, and most importantly, stop complaining about cards until after they've been aired. If it sucks, then complain away, but until then stfu.

I agree more or less. Such questions can usually not be answered with any sort of finality until after the event.
Take UFC 72, main event is Kampmann vs. Franklin. Most people would say that they'd rather pay to see Werdum vs. AA (two top 10 HWs), but in reality, I think that Kampmann vs. Franklin will probably be a better fight, even if one of the fighters isn't top 10.

I agree with the thread starter.

i think if you looked at Pride the second coming on paper those fights were supposed to be one sided beat downs and that card turned out to be one of the best ever, its a good example imo
however some ppl bitch about EVERY card regardless of whos fighting on it, without fail there is at least 1 thread about every card and how it is "the worst card to date" and it almost invariably never is, not even close.

Yeah, I end up getting all excited the day of the event, regardless of the card. Between Pride and UFC, it's like Christmas two or three times a month. I'm not a guy that's comfortable or responsible financially, but it's always worth the money. Especially with these upsets that have everyone all... upset.

Yeah I get tired of seeing that to. I mean if you don't want it don't buy it. Just don't bitch about it. I mean come on it cost more than $40 for a tank of gas.

in the past 5 years, there have maybe been 1 or 2 PPV events worth the money (prior to seeing the action) and 3 or 4 after seeing the action.
