Agreed. And dont go crowning Penn against florian just yet. Florian is not sherk. Penn wont be able to sit back and jab away as he wont have a reach advantage against Florian. Florian has the makings of being the first war for Penn at 155. Will be an interesting fight, hope it does happen in Dec.

i'll tell you what ... bj penn needs this fight in december ... he has been putting on weight for this fight in terms of mass (cue the burrito jokes) and if he fights at LW in december, there is not enough time to put that mass back on my feb ... he will push for this fight in december and it will probably happen ... we need this fight in december too ... i can't here all this Bj penn GOAT garbage another couple of months .. gsp will shut them up for the interim

gsp has plenty of time to get ready for bj in dec. every title should be defended at least every 4 months and get rid of so many damn non-title ppvs

Penn has always stated that he has no motivation to defend the LW belt, so the real question is: Will Penn take Florian seriously?

i dont think hughes took alves lightly, alves just beat him because hughes isnt as good as he used to be and alves is just getting better and better

All Hughes talked about was Matt Serra this, and Matt Serra that.

He went into the fight with Matt Serra on his mind, and got beat by someone he didn't properly focus his training for.

I wouldn't put it past BJ to try anything but that's a good point.
He badly wants to fight GSP and it's the biggest fight in the sport right now. No way Dana let's this slide so BJ can fight Kenny. He's too much of a good promoter ($$$).
