Have to agree. Where's fighters like Kid Yamamoto and Eddie Alvarez. Rampage should not be on the list.

Andy Silva is a natural HW fighting 2 weight classes lower, p4p actually works against that type of ducking.

I voted for Fedor. There, I said it.

I agree.

Pretty much the only poll that ever results in Anderson not getting the top spot, because all you guys are living in the past.
I agree.

It's cool though, even Sherdog recognized A Silva as number 1 yet again.
Because they're all-knowing, which, by the very nature of being all-knowing, makes them all-powerful. Now if they could only get the omnipresent thing down, they'd be Gods.

Kid should be ahead of Silva, but Alvarez is on the list (at 10). Not sure if you think he's too low, but his placement is more or less reasonable. And you're right, Rampage on the list is strange. Not as bad as Forrest, though.

Sherdog is heavily UFC biased. It's like reading the Yahoo MMA section.

Run by Dana fluffers & sycophants, whose "articles" read more like White's press releases.

Funny even with the heavyweight forum traffic running better than 10 to 1 vs the contender forum, Fedro still wins. Would have thought it would have gone to The Dancing Spider.

There is really not anyone close to the cuddly cyborg.

Cuddly cyborg, huh. I don't think it'll stick. How about the Russian Teddy Bear (Fyodor is Russian for Theodore)? And yeah, there's an obvious reason for the pro-UFC bias. If you don't kiss Dana's ass, you don't get access to the fighters, or your access is limited. I've seen that kind of thing first hand with boxing promoters, and I imagine Dana's even worse.

That is so true, and I'm a UFC fan.

Fighting at 200-205, Silva is an average sized MW. A few guys might be smaller, but some guys are bigger too.

McDonald, for example, is HUGE. 210+ fight time. But I don't hear him catching flak on here for it...

I mean, geez, all credit to Forrest for his last two wins, but does anyone with a brain really think that he's one of the 10 best fighters in the world p4p? Or that Kid's not even in the top 10 (I'd put him third behind Fedor and BJ)? And how can anyone still think that Silva's No. 1 after his last fight? I wonder what it would take for him to drop in the list. And I wonder what it would take for Fedor to take the top spot. His last fight was against a top-5 opponent and he couldn't possibly have done any better than he did.
The fight in which he completely avoided taking any damage whatsoever due to incredible footwork and head movement? The fight where he knew his opponent was heavy handed and he displayed sound strategy and approach by changing his game plan accordingly? The fight where he looked better than he ever has in his whole career?

Patented Silva Insta-KO is always great and all but the aspects of that fight listed above were incredibly impressive and in my opinion they can only strengthen his claim to being P4P king.

It's still Fedor though.
