It looks like it could be heavily influenced by the need to retain access to UFC fighters. A more rational list might piss Dana off to the point that he would try to prevent that.

Not only was Nog more dominant than Silva's opponents when Fedor first beat him, he was more dominant than Silva himself. Arguably both he and CroCop were better p4p when they fought Fedor than Silva is now.

I don't see any complaining about whitebelts and trolls now, even if there are more now than ever

I think this is better list than the one in article "Sherdog.com’s Pound-for-Pound Top 10".

Arona made the poll. He voted for Big Nog.

Just checked it again Fedor and Silva are going up while GSP and Penn lost some, despite their current media presence.
And finally someone chose Nog.

No.
This site has a ridiculous Pride bias and the Fedor nuthuggery knows no bounds.
Pretty much the only poll that ever results in Anderson not getting the top spot, because all you guys are living in the past.
It's cool though, even Sherdog recognized A Silva as number 1 yet again.

Show me any defense from Anderson, where he fought a guy who was coming off of a loss?
Hell, In the last year Lesnar has even fought better competition than the "#1 HW"
Lesnar:
Mir
Herring
Couture
Fedor:
HMC
Sylvia
The only ranked opponents Fedor has ever beaten are Cro Cop and NOG. He decisioned them both.
Anderson beat 3 ranked opponents in Nate, Rich and Hendo. All three former champs. None of them made it out of the second round. And Andersons losses dont matter in this argument. We are talking about right now, current PRIMED Anderson.
So until Fedor beats Barnett and AA, he doesnt belong in the same category as GSP and Silva.

People are not going to like you, even though of course most of what you say is true.

Hardly. Sherdog's lightweight rankings frequently ignore deserving UFC lw fighters in favor of guys from other promotions.
I do think Fedor should be #2 though. I don't see how the fight against Fitch moved him past Fedor if Fedor was ahead before. If GSP beats Penn, then that's a different story.
