I loved that Wand fight, he just unleashed on Fujita and you could tell that he's in top shape.

Fujita's "thick cranium" strategy didn't quite go as he'd thought it would. At the end I thought that Fujita was trying to break Wand's hand when he started blocking all the punches with his noggin. Guess it's back to the drawing board for the Fujita fight school.

Wand looked great in the fight though; violently aggressive when needed and calm and reserved when needed.

Fujita did better against Fedor than he did versus Wand and it'll be interesting to see who the match him with for the next round. My thoughts:

Barnett - my least favorite of the three and IMO the one that could give him big problems.

CroCop - would be a shootout. Wands aggressiveness could turn it into a brawl instead of the slower pased fight that Cro favors. TOUGH fight for both guys and I can see it going either way, just depends on who gets that first clean shot in.

Nog - Nog's convinced he can stand with anyone but I'd advise against it when fighting Wand. If Nog takes him to the ground, Wand also knows enough BJJ not to get caught in anything stupid. This might be a bad fight for both guys because I think it'll go the distance, leaving the victor more tired in the finals.

I hope he gets CroCop and I hope he gets him cornered and turns it into a war. After that he'll fight Barnett (who'll beat Nog in a long/gruelling battle)and that will be a crazy match. I would love to see Wand win it and take on Fedor. I think that fight would be amazing... Two champions battling it out.

The only reason I don't mind Barnett winning this one is because I can't stand Barnett and the thought of Fedor finally shutting him up, putting him in a wheelchair, and knowing that Barnett will be drinking his lunch through a feeding tube for 6 months sounds good to me.

All and all... The entire event was AWESOME and I can't wait until Final Conflict Absolute.
