I don't understand why Alves is mentioned in anyone's rankings...the dude got caught juicing, and even Sherdog has him listed on their front page poll...he shouldn't even be considered for a PPV anytime soon.

I have no idea. When Nick Diaz beats Gomi, is Diaz No. 1? I know as a fact that when Marcus Aurelio beat Gomi, an argument was made that Aurelio should not be No. 1. I just don't know; this is why mixed martial arts rankings are always ridiculous. Serra was defeated by Karo Parisyan, but defeated St-Pierre, who has defeated Parisyan. It's difficult to say.
