"I made Ken Shamrock a multi-millionaire again."

"I made Ken Shamrock a multi-millionaire again. I guarantee that didn’t happen over at the IFL.” Dana White. This statement shows exactly why Dana White is such a tool. He thinks he is directly responsible for peoples success. I didnt give a rats ass about dana white when I was renting old skool ufc's when it was underground. The sport of mma is the real kingmaker. Dana White could dissapear and frankly I think UFC would be better off with out him. Fighters that hate him or have problems with him could fight in the UFC. the list of fighters that are directly out of ufc because of him is getting long and soon UFC is gonna be a shit org because when fighters contracts are dead they will leave and someone is gonna capitalize on this frenzy. Imagine if Randy started an Org?? Oh yeah he had one and Dana the tool White made him get rid of it.

I hate to say it, but he's right. If it weren't for Zuffa buying the UFC, all you would have would be the old school UFC VHS tapes.

Hate Dana all you want, but the man paved the way for MMA the way it is today.

edit. yes, he could have chosen different words to use.

He is directly responsible for it. UFC won't crumble, because there won't be the interest by the majority of the UFC fans. Dana is a smart business man and a personality. Most people who buy the PPV's don't know who Fedor, Barnett, of Kang are but they know TUF guys. Please elaborate on who is out of the UFC, and don't say Randy because he will probably sign to fight Nog soon. I am sure you will say people like Shamrock or Pat Militech. Both are way past their prime in fighting. No disrespect to Pat because he is the best, or one of the top 3 best trainers in all of MMA. This thread is straight Dana hating. If it weren't for Dana and the UFC IFL would have no interest bringing in Shamrock as a coach.

Exactly. Plus, he gave Ken a chance to fight Tito...TWICE.

Sure, Dana did it for the money, but he brought Ken back into the limelight after getting murdered by Franklin. It was a great mutual deal, Ken got to fight his mortal enemy and get paid a ton of cash.

No way Ken gets that kind of money without Dana giving him tons of shots at big name fighters and then a spot on TUF. Mutually profitable situations are what drive any business.

After Shammy took a dive against Sakuraba, there was no reason for Dana to bring him to the UFC, but he did, but whatever.

yep.

Danas right.

Way to have a hate attempt back fire on you.

Without Dana White, love him or hate him, MMA wouldn't be anywhere NEAR where it is today.

Three times actually. The third fight should be seen as a gift to Ken and Tito, not to mention making him a coach on TUF.

So when Dana makes the Shamrock-Tito matches all of you guys hated on him for making it. When Dana claims credit for Ken making millions out of these matches that he made, you hate on him too?

Dana could be a bit more diplomatic about things he says, but having said that he has a point.

Ken Shamrock was gone into oblivion after he left the WWE. And hemade hima s tar again.

Fight in the same card as Forrest vs Griffin I

Coach in TUF against Tito one fo the biggest UFC stars.

Main event Tito vs Ken II.

Ken vs Tito III for free, which remains as the most viewed fight in free TV ever.

Which other fighter gets this kind of treatment with a 1-3 record?
