I think Winner has some potential just cus of his speed and athleticism. I don't see DaMarques or especially Wilks going anywhere beyond "gatekeeper" status.

Oh my god, Guida does not give up. He has a chin of iron, and not only is he still standing but he's right back trying to charge diego down and get in his face. Awesome fight so far.

I feel Guida gets shafted way too many times in the UFC. He always gets the short stick of a split decision. That was a draw at best. Guida won the 2nd and 3rd. He was pressing the fight and ended on top in the 3rd.

Here in CA I am watching this event and wondering if there will be a fight that won't go to decision. Once again too many decisions for my preference. Zzzzz

Most Assuredly

It was a great fight, and the fact that Guida was still popping and going AFTER the round-1 barage, including that head kick...fucking amazing, I have more respect for guida.

I also have more respect for Sanchez, as his striking has become MUCH more then a 1-dimensional 1-2, which he had in the bigger weight class.

I really feel 99%, disregarding the contenders and title fighters, would have been put down with that many shots from Sanchez in the first round..

I wasn't terribly feeling that Guida was "robbed," he nearly got submitted twice during the third (unless I'm getting one sub off, I can remember clearly the near-kimura, and I believe a choke was nearly put on as well, that could have been the second round)..I did feel Guida won the second completely, and the third was close, only due to the submissions.

During the second however, Sanchez did more damage from his BACK with elbows and sub's vs Guida (who had a few good elbows and punches).

All around great performance.

Thank god for Diaz Stevenson and Guida Sanchez if it weren't for them i would not have watched. And i'm glad i watched those 2 fights.. Something was missing from this TUFfinale eve thoughi can't pinpoint it. It was hard for me to stay interested in the entire event aside from those 2 fights.. Andthey did not let me down..
