3- Fedor (I'd like to say #1 or #2 but it's hard to until he gets a recent win over a genuinely well-rounded and threatening opponent)
4- Penn
5- Machida
6- Shogun (might as well swap him and Machida around)
7- Aldo
8- Mousasi (remember he was a MW not too long ago)
9- Henderson (was a serious contender at LHW before)
10- Bowles (gotta give this guy a spot)
The last few was hard to pick. I really wanted to include Marquardt, Fitch, Alves, Aoki, and Brown.

1- A. Silva might be a top 3-5 p4p after getting beaten by submission twice and having fought UFC Idol reality show star Forrest Griffin, Leites, Cote, and inconsistent James Irvin in his last fights...
The only tough fight A. Silva had recently was against Dan Henderson and he impressed me with that, showing that he rules his weight division right now. Silva vs prime Hendo would have been better, but you can't turn back the hands of time I guess.
2- Agreed
3- sure Dana, Fedor needs to fight true competition like Carwho, Velasqwho, wizard on the ground Kongo, iron chin Frank Mir, and proven legends Lesnar, and finally someone like Nogueira or Herring.
Just kidding, we all know he is number one.
4- he is a beast
5- child please. he is not better than Rampage at LHW.
6- agreed
7- who? Oh yeah, flavor of the month.
8- higher
9- back in the days, yes. Today, no.
10- who?

I'm not going to bother arguing which order the top 3 should be, it's anybodys guess for me.
But other than that, those ranking suck.
How can Machida be ranked number 4 and Shogun not be ranked at all?
Why is BJ below Machida when Machida got beat (we all know he did) in his last fight and BJ won emphatically against a top contender.
I really don't know how Fitch is ranked 7, sure he has some good wins, but for me he would get beaten easily by Koscheck if they fought, and Alves in a rematch. Fitch is a poor mans Kos, his wrestling is not as good and he has a lot less power in his hand and feet.
Alves dispatched Kos easily and so would do the same to Fitch.
Hendo should probably be ranked in there as much as I don't really like him. Hasn't lost recently (should of to Rich though IMO) and has shown he has the skills to transfer across two weight classes.
From 4 downwards I would rank it
4. BJ
5.Aldo
6.Bowles
7.Machida
8.Shogun (interchange Shogun and Machida depending on who you thought won the fight.
9.Dan Henderson (could have Rampage I suppose if you don't consider him retired)
10.Thiago Alves

1. Georges St. Pierre - Best striker and best GnP in his division. Best takedowns, takedown defense, cardio, and athleticism in MMA. Outgrappled BJ Penn. Quite simply the best all-around fighter in the world.
2. Fedor Emelianenko - I don't think he's quite as skilled as GSP or BJ, but he's never lost, so I gotta put him here.
3. B.J. Penn - As Sherdog says, the most gifted fighter who ever lived. Now that his cardio is top-notch, he is finally completely well-rounded.
4. Anderson Silva - Sure, he's run through the UFC, but he's never beaten a top-five P4P fighter. The Hendo win was great. The Marquardt and Franklin wins were really good. But seriously, this is just like Liddell's reign, he is crushing everyone he is supposed to crush, because the UFC is feeding him perfect match-ups. If he does the same to Belfort, I will question him no more. But I truly believe Belfort has a great chance of winning; just as good on the feet, just as good on the ground.
5. Gegard Mousasi
6. Mauricio Rua
7. Quinton Jackson
8. Jose Aldo
9. Brian Bowles
10. Dan Henderson
Lyoto Machida is overrated, period.

1. Gsp
2. Fedor
3. Silva
4. Penn
5. Machida
Really i think the biggest problem with most p4p lists is they stretch to make it to ten, they really arent ten p4p quality fighters making a run tright now, so why to force it, thats why 6-10 is constantly in flux

1. Fedor
2. GSP(Hurts a little)
3. Anderson
4. BJ Penn(Now it hurts more)
5. Shogun
6. Nog
The rest havent said enough to be considered top 10 P4P imo atm.
-Anderson is larger than his opponents most of the time and the competition he has faced is not the peak of MMA, therefor he is not either. He is however on a massive win streak facing good competition.
-Shogun was already widely considered top 3 P4P before his injuries and now that he has healed and showed comparable skill I think he needs to be put back into the fold.
-GSP is undeniable right now, facing great competetion and laying waste to them. I can see him claiming the #1 spot if not so already.
-Fedor has fought top 5 opponents twice and a top 10 opponent in his last three fights, all were bigger than him and all were destroyed pretty quickly. Then you have the rest of his resume to think about it, then you have the fact that he has never truly lost, I think it's clear he is #1.
-Unfortunately Big Nog has been dropping down my list recently but the fighters above him are all phenomenal and he has clearly declined from his peak =[.
-Machida has beat no one of real importance other than Shogun(officially), every other fighter he has faced were not "A" class including Rashad Evans and this is why he is not present on my list.

Do you have to post like such a little kid? GSP is slightly more well-rounded and a slightly better overall fighter, mostly due to his ability to dictate where a fight takes place no matter who he is fighting, whereas Fedor cannot take his opponents down at will and can be taken down.

The real question is: Who is the best p4p fighter after Fedor?
I would say:
2. GSP (for sure), great fighter, very well rounded, good striker, wrestler, grappler. Intelligent and very athletic, not only athletic looking, but very well conditioned! Best fighter in his weight class and a true sportsman with a lot of class!
3. BJ Penn (very likely), awesome fighter with tons of heart! He doesn't back down from nobody! He has beaten the whoswho of MMA! He has dominated all the LWs and most WWs! Best fighter in his weight class right now.
4. (maybe) A. Silva (maybe...), tremendous fighter with a slightly disappointing record of unnecessary losses... Best fighter in his weight class right now. Weaker and random competition recently because Dana White needs to prove A. Silva's superiority... I wouldn't be surprised if A. Silva is going to fight Kimbo Slice next to prove he can beat HWs as well.
