Few points regarding previous P4P historical chart:
- GSP has finally passed Anderson for the first place
- with win over Barnett Fedor can get new 30 points and go to #2
- Brock still has a long way to go before he is in top 10 (right now he is at #39)
- Anderson was #1 P4P for year and a half, but a lack of high quality competition might caused him to slide down (he might be #3 after Fedor beats Barnett).
- top 5 P4P has separated from the rest of the group and any of them can be at the top in a year from now.

Because, before the Sylvia fight, Fedor fans were saying that NOT LOSING kept him in his spot, no matter who he's fighting. But Silva fights decent comp, and is not losing...but people discredit him because of HOW he won

EDIT: I'm not a Fedor hater....I have Silva and Fedor equal right now. both have been extremely dominant against decent competition. Fedor may be slightly ahead by looking good in his last two wins.....but I still don't think he's really fought anybody. AA is as overrated as they come, Sylvia had already been beaten twice recently going into the fight.
speaking of overrated competition..
Leites? COTE are you serious? Lutter and leben? I never thought Marquart was all that, but the first 4 I listed? they're like european Hong Man Chois.
Silva's loss to Ryo chonan was embarassing, but Fedor's loss to...oh yeah.

Anderson and GSP are P4P Kings, I can't separate them. I'm a life long fan of Fedor and would like nothing else than to see him humiliate Brock.

IMHO

#1 - Fedor
#2 - Rush St. Pierre
#2 - Dragon Machida
#3 - Spider Silva
#4 - Rampage Jackson

I'm not discounting Rampage out of my top 5 yet - Unfortunate loss to Griffin, yes, but I want to see him against Evans, and he stands the best chance in the sport against Machida right now. If he wins his fight against the law, that is.

IMHO

Domination in a single weight division has absolutely nothing to do with P4P.

What a joke. P4P is about what have you done in your career against opponents naturally bigger than you. If you are gonna steal a boxing term, at least get it right.

Pisses me off see Anderson on the top. Why not Fedor or GSP?

They deserve more. Even Machida had to be put above Anderson.

Thats bullshit all the way!

Sherdog's P4P is too weak for words. Anderson is a HUGE MW, if you are talking P4P, he has to be dropped for that, he is as big as some HW's. If he can get some quality wins at LHW, where his frame dictates he should compete, than we will talk about him being #1 P4P.

GSP beat 2 guys that are on the current P4P list (BJ, Fitch) one guy that was on the list last time (Alves), he is smaller for his weight class than Anderson is for his. Anderson's last 2 performances were far less dominant than those of GSP's even though Anderson's opponents were less skilled than GSP's, yet GSP is still below Anderson? I don't think so.

And Fedor being #3? What have those guys been smoking? He is the perrenial #1 being a small HW that dominates the division, frequently beating guys 30+ pounds heavier, I think that is pretty significant if you are talking P4P. Quick KO's over AA and Tim should have done nothing to drop him out of his perrenial #1 spot. He has been dominant for a lot longer than anyone else on the list, he has proved his mettle with longevity; you have to go with someone who has proven themselves (Fedor was not KO'd in the last couple years by a TUF winner names Serra, and Fedor was the dominant champ when others on the list were still losing to small Japanese men.....).

Sherdog is eventually going to have to get off of Anderson's nuts or the list will just be a joke.
