I am pretty damn sure Rampage would be undefeated if he fought the same guys Machida did. Franklin, overweight BJ, Thiago Silva just to name a few.

Not even top 20. I would love to see that list. There are twenty fighters in the worl better than him, no. Machida is a great fighter but he has not beaten any of the top guys. If he beats Rashad he will be on the list. QJ, when he is on is one of the best if not the best LHW there is. My biggest complaint with the list is Fedor is #3. If GSP or Anderson where the same size as Fedor they would still lose. The guy is the best. If it is something in mma Fedor is the best. MMA=Fedor. Let's see how Machida does with Rashad and then we will know how good he is. I think right now there are more questions than answers.

Reminds me of that Green Day song 'Self Esteem'. Just because Sherdog gets absolutely 0 love from the UFC doesn't necessarily imply that Sherdog isn't trying to kiss up to the UFC a little. Or overrate them for some other reason. Maybe it's a calculated effort to grab pageviews from the lesser educated UFC-only fans quickly growing in abundance.

LOL what?

Holy shit, did your momma have concussion syndrome while you were in her belly? She probably was high on crack too.

Do you win fights by getting dropped while doing no damage to the opponent? LOL!

Why Fedor is #1 P4P to me...

Hi guys,

Just like everyone I'll give my opinion about the P4P rankings. Why? Because those rankings anoy the shit out of me.
First of all, let's compare the 3 contenders and compare their records:

A. Silva
record: 24-4
height: 6'2
weight: 185
weightcut: 25 pounds (or more)
average weight opponents: 181,96

GSP
record: 18-2
height: 5'10
weight: 169
weightcut: 20 pounds (or more)
average weight opponents: 166,3

Fedor
record: 30-1
height: 6'0
weight: 233
weightcut: 0
average weight opponents: 240,3

1. While we all know Fedor could fight at MW (if he would cut weight etc.) he fights at HW where the strongest fighters are.
2. While GSP on average outweighs his opponent with 2.7 pounds and A. SIlva with 3.04 pounds, Fedor is on average outweighed by 6.7 pounds (and I made those calculations on sherdogfightfinder weight, which is based on the weightcutting of as Arona for example)
So not only is Fedor capable at fighting at a lighter weight he chooses to fight everyone, including the biggest and strongest at HW.
3.He is undefeated (that cut doesn't count as a loss IMO), while the other P4P challengers have more then 1 losses. Besides being undefeated he is undefeated while having the most fights out of the 3.

So P4P 0,97 pounds vs 1 pound (opponent) of Fedor has a better record as 1.017 A. SIlva has against 1 pound opponent and 1,016 GSP against 1 pound opponent.

Took me a while to calculate lol

On a side note, I think this is just a ploy on Sherwoods part to get back into Dana's good graces.
