I hardly think MMAWeekly is UFC biased, they don't rank more than 3 UFC guys in the top 10 in any weight class (except 170). They rank way more Pride guys in each division's top 10 (which is expected as Pride does have many more top guys). Some Pride nuthuggers won't be happy until there's a site that has 0 UFC guys in the top 10.

Compare MMAWeekly to InsideFighting. On top of the UFC guys MMAWeekly ranks, InsideFighting also ranks the following UFC guys: Monson, Vera, Griffin, Swick, Loiseau, Florian, Stevenson.

IMO, they're all very good fighters but not top 10 now.

Hendo has wins over Big Nog, Vitor, Bustamante, Gono, Nakamura, Ninja...

He's won 4 of 5 fights at MW and in the champion in Pride.

Rich Franklin hasn't beaten anyone half as good as Hendo's opponents. He would get completely tooled by Hendo too.

It's laughable that someone claims Shogun to be above Wanderlei in ranking. That is to say a child can beat up his father. How silly. Also, the ranking's shouldn't be in that order for LHW anyways, I am not saying one could beat the other, but how can we say Chuck is better than Wanderlei if they never fought (we all know this would change if they did). IMO you cannot rank someone above someone else that is known to be better, UNLESS they beat that person. It only makes sense. Think about it, put Shogun in against Wanderlei - Shogun gets killed... Put "The # 1 lightheavy weight in the world Chuck Liddell" in against Wanderlei, Chuck gets killed.

I also agree that these rankings favour the UFC. We all know Aleksander would absolutely maime Sylvia, as would hunt or Kharitonov. And Dan Henderson is unstoppable lately, and should not be so far down on that list.

I say send these rankings to wasteland.
