wow, i really think stevenson has a chance. i remember looking at the odds. He is a huge underdog. maybe put some change on him and he'll come through. anything can happen in fights.
If Joe Stevenson can beat Yves Edwards who beat Hermes Franca Who Beat Gabe Ruediger who Jason Maxwell who beat Jens Pulver who beat BJ, Why cant Joe Daddy beat him himself?
Joe Daddy has the strenght, the chin, great jujitsu, and a better nick name.
Because he got absolutely tooled by Josh Neer...Tooled.
Hows he beat BJ? Standing...Ha. Nope.
He doesn't have good enough wrestling to even get BJ Down. Can't control him from top position even if he did. Not to mention being in BJs guard is just begging to get your back took and choked.
Hes not gonna Guilotine BJ, sorry...
BJ by standup beatdown, then BJJ Clinic whenever he wants.

I know BJ hasnt won in a very long time, but BJ has shown in the past that he is on a level that many fighters can't attain. He easily destroyed a 5 yr undefeated Gomi.
You sure do make alot of mistakes man. BJ hasn't won in a very long time? He just won his fight in like June. Also, Gomi had just lost to Hansen when BJ beat him.
Joes real strengths and keys to this fight lie in cardio and the fact that his coach marc laimon is a master at breaking down peoples games and devising plans to beat them, plus he know bj's game inside and out. Joe needs to push the pace for the first 2 rnds and bj will get tired, and that is where joe will take the fight. Bj is superior in bjj but he is not aggressive and doesnt go for subs from his gaurd which can allow joe to work some grnd & pnd and win a dec or stop by ref stoppage.
