Notes and comments on Pride 31!

There's three of em worth to mention!
There was a big unfortunate brawl, as we all know. Already been talked about enough so we won't need any of those..

The things I took notice of was following>

Fedor stepped in the ring when Roman won, Roman looked relieved and pointed at Fedor and looked to be saying he's the man or something. Fedor just shook his head and pointed at Roman, he didn't want to steal the show and kept himself in the background after that, just another proof of Fedors humbleness! real class act, glad to se there was at least one classy champ there!

Rizzo had no foot work what so ever, he never switched stance or circled (too short of a bout, I know) but he jest didn't seem to be there body mind and sould, I think he's pretty much over and done with! It's a shame though!

Fedor shook his head when Kharitonov was being pounded, Fedor must have seen that he was injured. Kharitonov is in the russian army, those guys are hardcore and won't stop for nothing. Overeem must realy SUCK at submissions if he couldn't submit a guy who popped his shoulder. Overeem said that he defended submissions.. one guiljotine, so hey Overeem learn something new.. Going at a guy like that is just poor taste, he must have a complex since he got rippt a new hole by Shogun, with his gf watching (lots of laughs..)

dude rizzo didnt have a chance to display his damn footwork. he got what he deserves though, he is a counter fighter that didnt counter anything. he was trying to push the envelope but got taged. it happens to everybody. usually not him he has great patience.

Sadly, it's time for Rizzo to retire. He was abused in his two last fights and he hasn't looked impressive for years. He is old school and has produced a lot of impressive knock outs, but I just don't see a future for him.

I agree with the most part of what you said, except:
1) Being in the russian army doesn't mean s++t, today the russian army is one of the most unmotivated and undisciplined millitary organisations in the world, so your "they won't stop for nothing" line is a bit retarded. Khar didn't want to stop, but def not because he's in the russian army, but because he's a fighter.
2) "Going at a guy like that is just poor taste" is also a bit ghay to say. Should he have backed off of Kharitonov at the first signs of his discomfort? Kharitonov could have tapped at any time. He choose not to, so all punishement is perfectly Ok, and more so, what professional MMA fighting is all about. They are paid to fight until the ref stops it or the other guy taps, not until they think the opponent is a bit discomforted by their attacks.

Nothing personal,your other comment are totally on the money, I just think you were/are too biased towards Kharitonov when you were writting that part.

More kind of bias to the guy getting beat after injury.. My bud was in the army over there and they are strictly hardcore, just so you know..
