NHL Goons Respect MMA Fighters

Interesting article I was just reading. Thought You guys might want a read. Seems like NHL tough guys really respect UFC Fighters. I was surprised at how much they were saying that MMA workouts are like nothing else. I always thought Hockey could compare to its intesity considering they have 45 second shifts and are gassed. Seems like they do a lot of anarobic exersies simmilar to MMA.

You would think there would be more crossover between the sports but Steve Bosse is the only one I can think of at the moment.

Why does it matter? As long as more people are saying something positive about MMA.

each player plays 20 min roughly in a game of hockey, 45 seconds on the ice and then a minute or 2 between each shift.
vs
5 minutes and then a 1/2 minute break.

No need to be a dick. Was just wondering if there were more guys from hockey in mma because I could only think of one.
