Next main events should be Sok-Wand and Dan-Shogun

Both fights right now would be HUGE main events and would be perfect both for fans, and for cleaning up the rankings.

If both Dan & Sok win, then Team Quest establishes itself as a powerhouse once again and a new era of LHW begins. A crossover match between Dan or Sok and Chuck would also be gigantic and very easily hyped

If both Shogun and Wand win, the status quo is (mostly) brought back to normal, except now Shogun is the LHW champ! He would be an extremely popular champion; meanwhile, Wand could rematch Dan for another huge main event. Shogun or Wand vs Chuck would again be GIGANTIC

If Dan & Wand win, Wanderlei will have stripped away all of Sok's momentum and stolen it for himself. He'd definitely be redeemed after his last two losses, and would once again be feared, revered and respected. He'd then rematch Dan for another MASSIVE main event, and whoever wins would have HUGE hype following him when they fight Chuck Liddell.

If Shogun & Sokoudjou win, the torch of Wanderlei's will be effectively passed on to Shogun and Sokoudjou will be riding MASSIVE hype; unparalled since Shogun's GP win, really. Dan can rematch Wanderlei for a big fight (though it wouldn't be a main event anymore), and Shogun-Sokoudjou would be absolutely CRAZY. Both students who have beaten their opponent's teachers and surpassed their own, now fighting for the belt. The mouth drools at such a prospect.

No matter which way you cut it, setting up those two fights would result in a fucking awesome year for MMA

jeez i don't know if i want to see wand fight somebody like soku so soon after getting knocked out twice. wand needs to be fed a can first so he can get his confidence up. i do a gree that shogun/henderson should happen soon.

Iuno, Wand seemed willing to face a dangerous and bigger tonight in Gilbert Yvel if he got cleared by NSAC, so he doesn't seem to be lacking confidence. YOu may be right that he needs a warmup fight though, to sharpen up his game a bit

By feeding Wand a can what we mean is something like folgers or campbells tomato soup. Please let him fight a can that won't hit back to preserve his lifespan.

It would be nice to se Shogun TKO/KO Hendo for the title and then fight Soko for the titel would be so fucking good, Shogun would TKO Soko by knees in rd 2, after that Shogun goes to the UFC and beats Tito in he`s first UFC fight by UD. 2-3 months after that Shogun faces Babalu in a rematch and beats Sobral by KO(Punch). CHUCK "THE ICEMAN" LIDELL VS MAURICIO SHOGUN RUA for the UFC LHW TITLE, round #1 would be realy exiting they would have a stand up war but shogun would press lidell all the time and get round 1, then in the rd two both fighters would be a bit tired but lidell takes it beacuse he scores servel counter punches, In the Rd 3 lidell gasses and Shogun can get the TKO victory and will be the Pride LHW Champion and the UFC LHW CHAMPION.

I don't want to see wand get Ko'd 3 times in a row. Not saying it'll definitely happen but it's a distinct possibility.

Who do you guys think Wanderlei should get as a warm-up fight before Sokoudjou (wow, never thought I'd be saying something like that)?
