Como você encarou este convite para enfrentar o Henderson?

Fiquei amarradão. Além de ser um dos maiores cascas-grossas do Vale-Tudo, o cara é gente finíssima. É um dos poucos lutadores que já esteve no topo das três categorias. Enfrentou os maiores nomes do pesado, meio-médio e médio. Já lutou com Minotauro, Wanderlei, Arona, Murilo. Sem dúvida o Henderson merece todo respeito, acho que vai ser uma grande luta. Espero conseguir a vitória para poder lutar em breve pelo cinturão.

Para lutar pelo cinturão dos médios você possivelmente terá que enfrentar seus ex-companheiros de BTT Rogério Minotouro ou Ricardo Arona, que estão bem ranqueados na categoria. Como você encara a possibilidade de enfrentá-los?

Não tenho pretensão nenhuma de lutar com eles, tenho um carinho muito grande pelo Rogério e Arona e não gostaria de enfrentá-los.

E contra o Wanderlei?

Acho que seria uma boa luta contra o Wanderlei, até porque ele já lutou comigo e perdeu, mas o futuro cabe aos promotores, são eles que vão decidir sobre quem irá enfrentá-lo pelo cinturão da categoria.

Como está sua preparação para esta luta com o Henderson?

Me avisaram na última sexta-feira sobre a luta. Na real estava treinando direto aqui em BH. Fazendo chão com o Baruck, Crocotá e Cezão e a parte em pé com o Rubinho, e o Jailson. Na segunda (25/9) estou indo pra Bahia afiar os punhos com o Dórea até a data da luta. O mais importante é que estarei muito bem preparado e não importa para onde a luta for.

Na sua opinião por que Minotauro e Wanderlei não fizeram a tão esperada final Brazuca?

Tanto o Minota como o Wand lutaram bem, o mérito da vitória foi dos gringos. O Wanderlei foi o maior guerreiro, estava torcendo pra ele. Foi uma fatalidade, o golpe entrou e peso-pesado é assim mesmo, mas o cara continua sendo o símbolo do casca-grossa, admiro muito ele. Na luta do Minotauro acho que ele lutou melhor, imprimiu mais ritmo e na minha opinião ele levou vantagem e merecia vencer.

Este Pride terá regras parecidas com o UFC. Se você pudesse unificar as regras dos dois eventos o que faria?

Tiraria a cotovelada do UFC e os pisões e tiros de meta do Pride. Acho que as regras do UFC, sem cotovelada, são perfeitas.

Com relação ao Boxe, tem alguma luta programada ou vai se dedicar exclusivamente ao MMA?

Minha prioridade no momento é conquistar o cinturão do Pride, mas quero levar Boxe e MMA paralelamente. Como já fiz uma luta profissional de Boxe, não posso voltar a fazer lutas amadoras. No momento o Dórea está negociando para eu lutar num torneio no Madison Square Garden em Nova Iorque no dia 9 de novembro, mas o adversário ainda não foi definido.

Anyways, I thought it was cool what he said about Silva, since Silva already said all kind of shit about Vitor. Its also nice to hear that he still trains in Belo Horizonte and with Dorea. A boxing fight at the Mandalay Bay in NY would be also great.

As soon as the english version is up on tatame, you will get your real translation. But again, if a Brazilian Sherdogger has too much time, he can do that for us.

Its not too hard to get what he says, though, IMO.

Yeah please do that as soon as they post the english one. I really tried to read this one but i got lost in the very first few lines.
