Hello, I’m trying to contact fighters that fought in UFC 1-10. I need 45 seconds of UFC footage for my documentary. The UFC will not sell me any footage. The news stations that covered the events back in the early nineties said they would. The problem is they did not archive the footage they shot.( they shot the footage which means Zuffa or SEG doesn’t own it)
I’m hoping that maybe one of the fighters at the time recorded a local news segment and kept it to show friends. If I can get the footage, I can then approach the news station and buy the footage. It is a long shot, but it is worth a try. If anybody has some old news footage please contact me. If you know a fighter that fought back in the day, please ask him if he has any old news footage. If he does please let me know!!! You can PM me or contact me on my web site
www.mycagefighter.com It can’t be a news segment where they borrow footage from the UFC, it has to be one where they sent their own crew.
In case you might think the UFC is holding the footage because the documentary is a negative peace, please read some of the reviews. It is a hard-hitting peace, but at no time would anyone feel it was slanted against MMA or for that matter, slanted for MMA. I can work around the footage, but it would be nice to get the right footage to go with the dialogue in the interviews.
If you know of any freelance video camera person that might have footage please forward their info as well.
Thank You,
Tamera Sturgis

Film reviews.
“This compelling documentary begs the question, have you ever pursued your dreams...Really? Todd Sturgis did not follow his dream, he hunted it down. I highly recommend watching UNDER PRESSURE and then write down your dream and do it.
Tamera Sturgis the film’s director does a terrific job of capturing the heartache, the blood, the sweat and the tears that it required for Todd to get to the top of a very large mountain. This is an edge of your seat, bite your nails, shout for the hero film, with an ending that does not disappoint.”
-Eric Harely, MIDNIGHT TRUCKING RADIO NETWORK
“Accompanied by a thoughtful and appropriate original score, Under Pressure: Diary of a Cage Fighter’s Wife is interesting viewing for anyone interested in giving M.M.A. a go.... By getting a taste of other’s experience, both good and bad, it may just help you make up your mind as to whether you really want to
do it or not.”
-Hywel Teague, FIGHTERS ONLY MAGAZINE, England
“I loved this film....It offered great insight into the grassroots of the sport of M.M.A....It was both exciting and insightful.”
-Ben Stone, BLITZ AUSTRALASIAN MARTIAL ARTS MAGAZINE
“Some still see the M.M.A. world as a brutal sport supported by borderline psychotic competitors, but Sturgis captures the true sacrifice laid down by the fighters and the emotional toll paid by their families in their quest for greatness in one of the world’s grittiest sports.”
-Bill Hicks, The Grapevine Independent
“What a great film...Finally a view not often considered…looking through the eyes of the wife of a fighter... Many people don't realize what the wife of the fighter goes through. It isn't a physical battle like it is for the fighter, but sometimes the emotional side can be just as hard.”
-Beth Franklin, wife of U.F.C. world champion Rich Franklin
