I've seen this subject pop up (rarely), and it always baffles my how someone could use this as a reference to Shogun being out struck standing. There is no way anyone could watch this match and come to this conclusion.

Shogun dominated Nak for 20 mintues showing a very wide range of skills. Nak showed just how friggn tough he is in this match. ONe thing he didn't do was "out strike" Shogun. That's for damn sure.

Shogun's standup is sick. And alot more well rounded than Liddell's, who only relies on one style of counterpunching, and punches pretty slow.

Forrest is a B-level fighter. I don't know why people think that's an insult. The vast majority of LHWs in the world would love to be B-level.

I like Shogun over Forrest because Shogun has too many tools. He is pure Chute Boxe: punches, elbows, knees, submissions ... It's not that "well-rounded" crap we hear about all the time. It's proven ability to consistently finish fights in more than one way.
