Shogun is without a doubt the most overated striker in MMA...as a fighter he has few equals but as a striker he terrible any way you look at it:

No defence,throws only haymakers,no combinations...

He got outstriked in a lot of his fights:Cyborg,Overeem,Nakamura,The Snake,Lil Nog until the knockdown in the 3 and was pretty desperate to go for takedowns in each of the fights...not that Griffin is Peter Aerts but at the very least the stand-up is 50%-50%

if rampage couldnt come close to beating shogun what makes anyone think griffin will do any better? ill be glad when most of the TUF fighters are outta the ufc and just the real talent are left which is just a handful if that. griffin wont be running like eddie sanchez ran from mirko but he will look alot worse. shogun will want to dominate forrest and most likely will, standing or on the ground. forrest has a great personality and did look much better in his last fight but get real shogun is ranked number 1 on just about every mma site out there and for a good reason.
