I think forest is a good fight for Shogun. He is a kown quantity to the fans. So if he loses to a guy with no name in the UFC then it makes a title fight for shogun feel more legit.

Yes , He does become more of a ground fighter after he broke his arm.But so what? he still finishes most of his fights and ever finish overeem faster than the first time they met.I dont think Shogun will take a long time striking with Griffin , He will throw him off with strikes and goes for a take down.While he's there , hes gonna finish the fight and punish griffin with elbows and strikes to body and head.

Frankly Nak did pretty good standing even with Wandy until he through off his half gi in the 2005 gp and got caught. So imo Nak really isn't that bad standing.

What fight were you watching, if you think that Nak outstruck Shogun your dellusional. He didnt land any significant strikes, at least Shogun landed the occasinal jabs and rights, and knees. Wasnt Shoguns best striking perfomance but this is MMA and he nearly dominated Nak.

BTW, Nak is very understated with his striking, the guy has great defence. BTW, your boy Chuck doesnt fare so well vs guy that can hit and at least that has been proven. Your prediction about Shogun is just an opionion.
