Nakamura let Cyborg look like a first grader in jiu-jitsu. Nakamura has good striking. But yes, it was probably not the best day of the SHOGUN.

Nakamura is a solid fighter with an explosive left hook, and a very decent boxing game. In no way did he outstrike Shogun in this fight. I actually remember reading about this fight and how poor Shogun looked in his comeback after Coleman; now that i've seen it, i think he looked pretty damned good... Nak is no joke, and he got thoroughly dominated.

Nakamura hardly outstruck Shogun. In that fight Shogun didn't look his best but I think he knew he would be fighting in the US soon and avoided pretty much all soccer kicks on the ground and mostly concentrated on takedowns/grappling and dominated the fight.

Congrats on trolling yourself to a green belt. You call people "Pride boy lovers" when it's obvious that you have a mancrush on Forrest and basically shit-talk all Pride fighters no matter how talented they are. You're a hypocrite and an ass. You are not a true fan of MMA.

I think what we see in that fight is Shogun being a smart fighter. He's confident in all aspects of MMA so if he's fighting someone who's better standing than on the ground, even if their standup is not better than his, he will take them to the ground to play off of their weakness. Shogun makes people fight his fight, and not the other way around. The only way I could see him losing is if he underestimates Griffin and tries to put on a "show". If he goes in their like he usually does and imposes his will, he will have no problem with Griffin.

Shogun could stand with Chuck??? yeah right.

You linked this fight because you were trying to make some point? What I saw is that Shogun dominated basically every area of the fight. You know...with Shogun it's just time. He'lll dominate Forest, he'll dominate Chuck...sht...I'd like to see him kick Tito's ass...

dude, you must be crazy to actually claim that forrest will definitely outstrike shogun. there is absolutely no evidence that forrest can do this, besides that i think forrest relies too much on his striking to please the fans which actually results an incomplete gameplan while he fights. shogun could probably beat him wherever the fight goes, altho it will be interesting to see how shogun handles not being able to stomp or throw soccer kicks. i really think forrest is in some big trouble for this fight
