My UFC 71 experience Day 4 ***W/PICS***

Here are the links to the other days

Day 1:My UFC 71 experience Day 1

Day 2:My UFC 71 experience Day 2 ***w/pics***

Day 3:My UFC 71 experience Day 3***w/pics***

Well fight day has finally arrived. We were super pumped and having
the greatest weekend ever but it was about to get better. We got to
the MGM around noon after printing off some more 8x10 of the photos
we thought we could get signed. We headed over to the Garden Arena
in case they had anything going on and to figure out when doors would
open. Doors opened at 4:30 so we hung around there for a while and
a few minutes later we noticed George St. Pierre coming in from outside
and being the only people down there it wasn't hard to get a photo.

Then we went back to the lobby and noticed Marcus Davis checking in
so we said hi got a quick shot and wished him luck next month. He was
very appreciative and nice and after we talked to him a bunch of other people
started getting pictures and talking to him.

A few minutes later we spotted Eddie Bravo and got a quick shot. He
was cool. We saw him the other day when we snuck back into the arena
area but he was doing some business and radio stuff so we didn't bother
him.

We went back downstairs of the Garden Arena again to hang out and wait for
the doors to open. We noticed on Sean Salmon's blog that he had to be there
at 3:00 so we figured other fighters would be too. Sean was the first one we saw
and we got a pic of his whole team.

Then we saw seem really hot girls outside so we checked it out. It was 2 of the 5
Xyience girls Tammy and Candi. They were handing out little autograph cards-baseball
sized so we got a quick photo with them. Enjoy!

While we were waiting Mandy Moore walked by us but I didn't notice because I was
too distracted by these two clowns trying to fit a big cart of drinks and snacks through
the metal detectors. It was funny but I was pissed that I missed out on Mandy.

Then Forrest Griffin came running by in a hurry my friend spotted him outside. But
he had to get in real fast to work Carmelo Marrero's corner but said he will be around later.
One of the security guys that we were cool with tipped us off that Randy Couture would be

coming in about 15 mins so we got excited and waited around but never saw him. By
now they started letting people in but we hung around outside to see if anymore fighters
were coming. Not seeing any and the first fight starting at 5:05 we went in. As we walked in

to find our seats we saw Randy Couture which was sweet, but we didn't approach him because
he was helping out a handicapped guy in a wheelchair so we didn't want to be the
jerk fans that will bother people no matter what they are doing. We had a few rules that we
left them alone
1-on the phone
2-with significant other (w/some exceptions)
3-eating
4-helping someone out or anything that would make us come of as jerks
5-if they turned down a photo or autograph don't beg or keep asking(we were never
turned down which was awesome)
We just used common sense because we don't want to be the fans that ruin it for
everybody else in the future.

We got to our seats which weren't bad, lower level section M8
Well we saw the first bout which started off slower pace which was met with some boos(still
don't see why people boo but thats just me) then it picked up and Wilson Gouveia
walked away with a submission win. So we ran back downstairs and saw Forrest Griffin.
Asked for a quick photo which he gladly obliged and wished him luck on his next fight
in Ireland, he was a little bummed because quoting Forrest "his guy got his ass kicked"
but overall really cool guy, he is one of my favorites in the 205 because his fights
are usually exciting and he always gives it everything so I was glad to meet him

well thats 6 pics so new post stay tuned and keep looking down because
we are just getting started. I have about 10 or more pics left to put up.

Right after meeting Forrest I saw Tito entering the lobby/concessions area
I figured he would get mobbed so I waited but he walked up to the guys who
check tickets pretty much untouched so I stopped him real quick for a photo
and wished him luck against Rashad. He said thanks and was real nice about
the pic. I was impressed. Still can't believe he was able to get all the way through
without the place getting a little crazy. My friend wasn't quick enough to get a pic so this
is the only one that I have over him.

We went back up to catch the next fight which was the Din Thomas one and
had a pretty cool post fight speech even though most of the crowd
didn't like it. (Side note) the people sitting behind me were complete
losers and had no idea what was going on and said some of the
dumbest things I've heard. I am no expert beleive me but I don't go
around saying a bunch of dumb crap trying to act like I know whats going on.
I didn't have a voice from partying the
night before which I regret because I would have cocked them so bad.
I tried but it wasn't working very well. Examples "Din Thomas doesn't
know how to finish a fight"-I believe he as around 16 finishes KO or sub
which I didn't know but they said it right before they came out. Also
"Din Thomas has no ground game"- if so I am curious how he got his
black belt in BJJ. "not many leg kicks in this one, yeah and you won't
see one either in this fight"- followed by about 5 leg kicks in under a min
by both fighters. Luckily they shut up the few times I did cock them.

After that fight we ran back downstairs again but on the way we saw Dean
Lister doing an interview so we patiently waited for him to finish and got
a quick pic. Most people were asking who is that? so I snuck in and was
the first one to get a photo. pretty decent size guy for MW.

We continued back downstairs and ended up seeing David Spade who was
a complete a-hole. My friend got a pic but I said no thanks to that loser.
If you go to an event with 15,000 people expect to be recognized or stay
at home and watch it. We ran into Herb Dean who was really cool.

Then we saw AA again and my friend wanted another pic because
Arlovski had his eye closed in the one we took the other day so
he got that. I should have too since he was dressed so pimp.
And man was his girlfriend hot. No bra or panties and absolutely
gorgeous.

We saw Alan Belcher coming out from the back after his fight
that he won by submission. He was very happy, we congratulated
him on the victory and got a quick shot.

Then we went back upstairs for the next fight but saw Soko
I don't know how to say his name but he gladly gave us a
photo and not very many people knew who he was.

Well thats 6 pics already a few more to go
look for the next post in a few minutes
