And after Terry Martin we saw Joe Stevenson,
we saw him yesterday but he was
carrying his kid in his arms so of course we just
said hi when he walked by.
But today we got a photo and right after words
he was doing an interview with
someone but the weird thing was they had the
camera about 2 inches from
his face with this super bright light too.
Well we finally got something to eat and as we
dumped our trays we saw Shonie Carter.
Real hard to spot with his yellow suit.
Then we went back to the Garden Arena to wait in line
for the autograph sessions since the lines were getting
pretty long. It was already out the door.
We caught Scott Smith going by. Funny thing is we saw
him a few times. But we
could not remember his name for the life of us. It was
on the tips of
our tongue but couldn't figure it out so we had to look it up
when we got home because we knew we would see him again.
We went to the autograph session. There were a lot of people
there. Due to inside information we knew who would be signing
Roger Huerta, Gabriel Gonzaga, Rashad Evans, Andrei Arlovski.
Having met all 4 already we still wanted to get some autographs.
We waited in line for about 45 mins. We tried paying people to
let us cut because we wanted to be in the front of the line for
weigh-ins but people can't be bought apparently. $40 is not
enough for them to let you go before them and they meet
the fighter 10 secs later. I would have taken it had I been waiting
in line for 4 hrs but thats just me. Well first was Roger and we had
him sign the picture we took from the day before. He liked that and
was really cool. Security was trying to rush people and say no photos
and only one autograph per fighter but roger would always take a
photo and sign anything you gave him. Next was Gonzaga who was about
15 mins late, not sure why maybe didn't know he had to go. They
had premade 8x10 photos so he signed one and gave them to us.
Next was Rashad and he signed our picture from the day before.
I'll put the one of my friend because he had a crazy look on his face.
Last but not least was AA he signed our photo of us with him and seemed
to like it. We got him to smile. Then I got one of his premade photos and
shook his hand then we waited in line for the weigh-ins.
We waited for ever and there were a lot of uneducated fans I will call them.
A few of the fighters would make there way through the crowd.
A was probably the only one to notice Belcher and hollered out his name
and he looked and gave me the head nod. Tim Sylvia made an appearance
and was met with some light boos and heckling but seemed decent and
was talking photos and signing stuff while he was making his way through.
Well after sitting around for almost 2 hrs they finally let us in. It was a
madhouse apparently some seats were reserved but they didn't say
anything until you sat down in them. Next time we are going to try and
sit as far to the left as possible because that is where the fighters are
hanging out. Well the weigh-ins I am sure everyone saw. They burned through
the first few rather quickly but then had to wait once they got to the main
card fighters because espn was broadcasting them. During the breaks
Joe Rogan would say a few things that were kind of funny. Then they
paused again before Chuck and Rampage. After the weigh-in we quick ran
downstairs figuring most of the fighters would come out there to avoid the
huge crowd. We were somewhat right. We got James Irwin coming out.
He was intense and extremely ripped.
Also world class trainer Greg Jackson
well I'm up to 6 pics again so new post coming in a few minutes.
look for it below
