Most Unusual Fighters of Early MMA

**** NOT MEANT AS A FIGHTER BASHING THREAD ****

As anyone who has watched early MMA has noticed there have been some colorful fighters that entered into the cage/ring.

Who is your pick for most unusual fighter of the early days of MMA?

Unusual could be anything from their out of ring behavior, fighting style or something else entirely.

My pick is Moti Horenstein ( http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/f...?FighterID=139 ) . While I do not believe that he would be agreed upon as the most unusual fighter he certainly has a fighting style according to the fight finder that I find to be very unusual given his record.

Who are your favorite unusual fighters of early MMA and why?

Joe Son was a few tacos short of a 10 pack...

****EDIT****

Not sure if you'd exactly classify him as early UFC but Shonie carter was always quite a character

scott morris was the ninja, but the most unusal i think would have to go to the worst, and that would be Jon Hess. Dude was a "safta" fighter, and a local boy as he was out of IB down here in Sd. He was terrible, he was fat out of shape and was jumping around and swinging like a girl, he was like a foot taller then who he was against, like 50 lbs heavier, and was getting owned. He ended up winning but only cause he got a good shot to the back of the other guys head (legal back then) it's seen by many as the worst fight ever (skill wise) theres a vid i posted of him somwhere on here, he tried a double knee drop..... it didn't work too well

Eldo Dias Xavier was a Capoeirista but not exactly a threat in the cage. His style was weird to watch almost like a scripted JCVD movie scene, he got KO'd in UFC 4 in his only MMA fight.

Marco Ruas is also a Capoeira Master.

Didn't Gary Goodridge at one point get billed with a fighting style of "Arm Wrestling"?

Steve Jennum ( of the infamous UFC 3 incident) has his style in the fight finder as "Ninjitsu"
