Wow...so many of his points are the exact opposite of the truth! "MMA has no roots in other cultures" uhh how about Japan, Brazil, etc. "The prefight drama isn't real" it's as real as it is in boxing. "the sport has no depth compared to boxing" Yes, a sport which includes boxing as well as many other techniques has less depth..."MMA gyms have no chance to survive because only fighters will train there" MMA gyms are all over the place, and have a huge range of members, many who simply train to stay in shape or defend themselves.

All in all, that is one of the most retarded articles I have ever read.

This guy should train one day in a BJJ or MT dojo. Then kill himself.

Boxing would have already been eradicated if Bruce Lee had still been alive. He's the grandfather of MMA. He always liked to mix arts, weight training and other "unorthodox methods" in order to make something that worked better. If Bruce were around today, you could guarentee he'd be the originator of most of these.

Boxing is dead due to its own corruption and lack of stars, and there is no reviving it. This guy is obviously one of these old fools living in the past. He obviously knows nothing about MMA either.

Great email response by Drew0311. Now the guy wrote the article can crawl in a corner and kill himself. However, I personally think MMA can and will one day overtake boxing.

Some of you guys take any MMA criticism way to personally - unless of course it's coming from you ... I actually thought the article made some interesting points (i.e. shallowness of the UFC/flavor of the month syndrome) .... but yeah, there were some ignorant ones as well....

That guy makes a lot of good points. "The UFC is more exciting and delivers more fun, so it will get boring" and "boxing is better because we're all too stupid to understand jiu-jitsu" are real eye-openers.
