Is it more impressive to never be KO'd or never submitted?

Hard to say.

Never being subbed is all skill, but it can be achieved in lame ways sometimes (like Kerr's ADCC win, all takedowns and control)

I mean never being KO'd is a certain part genetics, but even Mark Hunt would be KO'd if he couldn't strike well and protect himself most of the time.

I'd say never being subbed is more impressive, because you have to tap, obviously...when you are KO-ed, it's not like you are giving up.

Everyone can get a lucky punch and get KO'd..it's more impressive to not be submitted. You could be the greatest fighter in the world and have a weak chin, and then if you get KO'd it can just be disappointing and tough luck..not necessarily a lack of skill.

Being submitted is worse cause when you tap it is like your giving up or saying " Uncle Uncle" Being KO'd your not giving up, but being KO is f@$king embarissing

Definately to never have been KO'd

I've heard many commentators say "he's never been submitted before" but the guys been KO'd many times. Far more likely to ever get KO'd which makes it more impressive to have avoided it.

i think people are more likely to remember you for never being KOd than for never being submitted.

What requires more skill? It's hard to say. I'd say they're pretty even, actually.

You can work on your sub defense...It's hard to train a chin, AA is a good example of this.

KO'd. That's something you can't train on avoiding or learn it's just there, you either have a strong chin or you don't. Put it this way I'm more impressed how Hunt-O's never actually been knocked out as opposed to Wanderlei never being sub'd or something like that.
