If mma ever gets legalized in Toronto, it will hold the biggest event in North American mma history. Imagine UFC 91 at the Skydome. 60,000 people easy, if not more.
Fuck Toronto Government, Rexdale is rioting tonight!!!

Hayashi is an idiot. In interviews, when discussing MMA, he comes across as a narrow minded bully. He refused to acknowledge any holes in his 'arguments' and will never be open-minded to MMA.
The only way I see MMA in Ontario happening is if UFC keeps going to Montreal and financial pressure to have similar events in Toronto gets to the people who have his ear. But it's very doubtful.
Btw, great job on exposing the dojo-aspect of it all TS!

Fuck Ontario! We don't even need it. As longs as the UFC keep bringing the show's to Quebec, I got no complaints. There's nothing like a good road trip to the best city Canada has to offer, Montreal. Montreal is a great time alone, add the UFC, great fucking times!

And the fucked up thing is that you could present a petition with 50 K names and the gov't wouldn't do shit because they do w/e the fuck they want.
The only thing that gets them to react is a protest....and Canadians are too apathetic to protest.

Yeah, but the city council banned it in Vancouver itself.

But they have no issues with football where people get injuries evey 5-19 mins through out a game. Stinks of politics. Oh well thats Canadas loss.

You know what's reallly funny about the whole Ontario/mma debacle, or any other province for that matter. We live in Canada. Hockey is by far our biggest sport. The only professional sport that allows two guys to drop their gloves and bareknuckel duke it out until someone goes down??!!?? haahhaah....wtf.
