Dont be a smartass either Sherdoggies, dont say I was there for UFC 1, be serious...i would say my first event that i watched and got into MMA was UFC 40 when Tito and Ken was promoted so heavily.
I watched UFC 5 on PPV, and Tank made me love UFC. I actually took a huge break from it all until this year in fact with Gracie vs Hughes. I guess I'm an old school guy who needed this fight to get me back into it. Also, watching Fedor HL's earlier this year made me want to get into PrideFC. I'm now a full blown addict. I'm collecting tapes, I'm posting on this damn forum, and I'll be getting every PPV from now on.
The one I said in the other bazillion threads about this.

I actualyl didnt see UFC first. My negibors growing up were illigal, but really nice people. Had two sons my age.. they went to and from mexico alot and would bring back different goodies for us. One day Reyes comes by and says "You gotta come see this on tv its like real wrestling". I get over there and low and behold, it was something called Vale Tudo. I fell in love with it at that day. It was the event where Pedro Rizzo won the tournament and Marco Ruas was in a superfight. Although that was the only event I saw for a few years, when I got the internet I looked it up and discovered the UFC. We didnt have much money and going to the video store was a rare treat so I never even saw the events around. Stupid me assumed that only people in Brazil did this sort of thing
