im not starting trying to start a fight at all just throwing points out, but against very good bjj guys nog doesnt hold a lot of subs, most of those wins come from decisions thats why i think itl probably end up a decision against mir if he arrives with good cardio.

do you people really believes that Mir can sub nog?
i sincerelly don't see any scenario of mir winning.... it's maybe the most "no surprises" fight ever...

i mean, even a "Fujita vs Fedor" fight you can think on another "punch chance" of Fujita.... but Mir vs Nog i serious can't think of anything that makes Mir win....

i think that if nog is ever going to caught by submission its going to something unusual and frank has shown that he has an arsenal. is it likely to happen no. but then again noone thought gonzaga would crocop crocop haha

while i applaud your attempt at bringing up a new point w/o argument, i must point out that his decisions include Horn, Hendo, Herring, TK, Ricco, and Fedor.

not a who's who of "very good bjj guys". most of these guys are folks who know what to do on the ground while at the same time dominate while standing. that's why Nog has tried to improve his standing for the last 3-5 years.

Mir doesn't try to "hold his own" on the ground; he goes for shit. it should be fun. so, i kind of agree with you that Mir might bring something to the table that no one has been able to against Nog, i wish him the best and don't expect it

as someone else said besides me, i expect Nog to just keep it standing and bloody/soften Mir up for a couple of rounds before ending it on the ground. and i think he'll end it with strikes, not a sub.

frank mir has never had a very good gas tank to last 3 rounds, let alone 5.

Nogueria will destroy Mir, Mir is'nt even a top 10 heavyweight anymore. I see Mir gettin a bad cut and they will have to stop tha fight. Their ground games are close but tha difference is Nog hands and his heart his hands are 4 or 5 times better then Mir. Tha only reason Mir is gettin a title shot is becauz how soft tha heavyweight divison is. I think Mir should have had to fight Kongo and or Herring or Gonzaga b4 he got a title shot.

If Mir winds this fight I will do a shit on a plate and eat it. That is how confident I am that Nog will win. If he does somehow win I will have to decide which sauce to to put on my poo.
