I didn't want to bother him too much but talked to him briefly, congratulating him on the big wins in the GP this year and asked him what he thought about upcoming finals. He said he was ready and seemed pretty confident, all in all he seemed like a pretty nice down to earth guy.
Some other guys sitting near me asked me who he was and I broke down his accomplishments, basically explaining he was one of the best fighters in the building that night.

Since you were there, can you answer a question....sorry if this is somewhere else, but since you went, I thought I would ask....
The fights that were aired showed a bloody mat. There seemed to be a consistent amount all over the mat...Can you fill us in on who that was or if it was multiple fights?
Thanks

RIGHT ON BRO..
Pride announced Randy Couture as the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion when he stepped onto the Ring with a bouqet of flowers for Mark Hunt and Wanderlei Silva. The announcers Bas, Stephen Quadros, Trigg, and Mauro have all mentioned UFC as well when referring to a fight/fighter in UFC. UFC always says, "Japan" blah blah blah.
notice Chris Leben said, "i'll send him back to JAPAN where the competition....blah"
he didn't say PRIDE FC. lol

Pride doesn't have trouble with losing its audience to the UFC unlike the UFC. I started watching the UFC first but when I got exposed to Pride from playing the video game, I bought some DVDs and the rest is history. I still watch the UFC if its free.

Macdonald should train with ATT if he had the chance. It'll probably improve his standup skills some more. I was also curious to know if he look at all depressed since I heard Shelby was his fiance.

Marcus Davis was bleeding pretty bad in the first fight of the night, he had a few cuts on his forehead. Most of the blood came from the Haynes Singer fight as Haynes was bleeding really bad for pretty much the whole fight. Singer also got cut a bit in the second, so most of the blood was from this fight, as you saw on TV Hamill and Petruzelli were both bleeding, as well as Ed Herman, but nothing compared to the amount of blood that came from Haynes.
On another note, I hope that they show the Singer Haynes fight on an upcoming UFC Unleashed as it was a great bout that saw both fighters drop each other, the kick that Rory landed on Haynes was awesome, they must have shown it 10 times in the arena on the big screens.
Also, for those asking, I got some pictures with a few fighters, but since Kang was sitting in his seat just trying to enjoy the fights with his friends I didn't want to pester him by making him stand up in the middle of the crowd and take a picture, I was afraid it would start a convoy of people coming over and asking him for pictures, and I didn't want to bother him like that. For the most part he was very low key, and most people had no idea who he was.
