Mayhem says WEC is like highschool wrestling?

According to mma junkie Mayhem compered the exposure of the WEC to wrestling in highschool in front of 200 people. Im a huge Mayhem fan, but I have to dissagree if he's leaving zuffa for hd net for exposure. The WEC has a television deal and is assiociated with the biggest MMA org in the world. I do not se hd net fights getting that big unless they start shelling out huge bucks to fighters. The pay might be bigger, but I would of loved to see a fight with Filho. THOUGHTS?

He's probably just talking about the live crowds. WEC hasn't been going that big on their events IIRC, so it would make sense. At least HDNet will be doing events in 20,000+ seat arenas (American Airlines Center in Dallas primarily), not that they'll come close to selling out.

He was talking about fighting infront of 200 people in the WEC, which was pretty funny.

Also, the WEC cage is definately smaller than the UFC.

They should have brought Mayhem back to the UFC. Letting him go was a mistake.

If it were coming from anyone else other then Miller, I think WEC would probably be offended. But it's Miller... so just consider the source.

ohh.. and the last time I checked, HDnet is on approx. (they won't reveal the numbers as they are low) 5 million sets where Versus (WEC's new home) is on over 75 Million sets... looks to me like Mayhem took a fairly substantial step down. lol
