Seriously. This is just sad. GSP may have gotten gassed after round 3, or frustrated by Fitch not going down, but that was a hell of an exciting fight. GSP and Fitch went for it, I don't care if Matt Hughes was "bored," because Georges TOOLED him - it wasn't a lucky punch, it was total domination

I don't like Matt Hughes, he is very arrogant. Regardless, you can't deny his legacy. GSP has a long way to go until he has proven himself like Hughes did. Don't let man crushes cloud the facts. Hughes was dominant like few others.

i agree with a lot of you here, i am not a huge hughes fan, but i have to admit at one time yes he was a very dominant champ, and no one will forget that, but even you hughes fans have to admit sometimes he puts his foot in his mouth and is known to trash fighters from time to time, i think his legacy has something to do with his arrogantnace, yeah he dislikes gsp, and yes only sees the first time they fought but up until the armbar gsp was winning that fight, but matt pulled it off, which made him the better fighter that night. but yes hughes needs to keep quiet til he wins again, it will only make him look bad, and even though i do not like the guy personally, i would hate to see him lose his creditbility just because he can't keep his mouth shut. and as for this crazy hughes bash9ing, man stop. dana was absolutly right when he said keyboard warriors who don't ever slink out of the basement have no respect, yeah the guy is not the most humble guy out there but show some respect, he has given us great fights in the past, and has entertained many of us.....and how many of you hughes haters were hugging his nuts in his prime? i bet alot of you were, champ huggers are the worst fans of all time!!

Well, I'm a huge GSP fan and I have to say that the last 3+ rounds of the fight with Fitch was pretty boring.

That said, Matt Hughes got destroyed twice against GSP. If that's not enough to humble his country breakfast, then nothing is. I can't believe I ever liked the guy.

I agree, he has said some things in the past that are questionable, like on Tuf 2 and 4, but so have other fighters, hes not the first, and its certainly not deserving of this hate he gets...People focus so much on stuff like that and forget how respectful he is to his opponents in the cage, he doesn't showboat and he doesn't trash on them after the fight win or lose
