Was Mark Hunt the one that got Knees to the Head Banned?

So knee's to the head on downed opponents is out, think Mark Hunt had something to do with it? I think so. Ive seen some of his knee's to downed opponents and they are vicious. He looked like a street thug with the way he was pulling back and driving his knee into the side of his downed opponents head.. With all that weight behind him too, he could kill somebody.

I dont think knee's to the head should be brought back, it just makes it seem like theyre trying to kill people in there. Elbows are ok, but knees are too destructive, and look bad for the sport. Which is why it got taken out. So to all you who want knee's to downed opponents brought back dont get your hopes up.. They want the sport to be mainstream, and with knee's i dont think it can be as mainstream without a public outcry to ban MMA in the states for being too violent.

I think Dan Severn kneeing Oleg Taktarov in the face multiple is what lead to it. That happened before 98% of todays Sherdoggers knew what MMA was and 2 years before the first Pride fight.
