Nate has made a career against fighting a bunch of Japanese cans and 155lbers fighting out of their weight class. When he has faced serious contenders, he either comes up short, or barely eeks out a crappy decision. He will get owned.

to be honest the ADCC forum would bore me to death however i accept your point about lutter not being a 'world class' bjj practioner in PURE GRAPPLING which i believe that ADCC is.

in mma however at 185 lb you've gotta admit that lutters bjj skills are up with the worlds best and anyway in my post my point was that the fact that lutter is very good from the mount position and couldn't finish silva that could suggest that mardquart may not be able to either.

i've seen guys finish fights from the mount when they're tired.

im so sick of people using lutter's failure to make weight as an excuse to take credit away from silva for winning the fight, its bad enough that the win didn't count as a title defence.

it was lutter's responsibility to make 185 and he knew it so him being gassed from weight cutting is no excuse as far as im concerned.

he didn't get caught in that triangle because he was tired, i think he just underestimated silva's ground skills.
