Machida vs Hoger thoughts: FOR THOSE WHO HAVE SEEN THE FIGHT! NOT A PM THREAD!
Ryoto took Hoger to school. Sam looked like an amatuer in that fight. He got nailed with about 20 solid leg kicks dropped on 3 different occaisions, twice with punch knee combos and got controlled by Machida on the ground.
Lyoto looked much more impressive than he did in his WFA fight and I really want to see him fight a higher level fighter on the main card. Very impressive.

BADASS FIGHT, his style is really different from most I've seen fight in MMA, Most people did see it, and want to talk shit about what he did a while ago people change their style, Rashad Evans is a good example, I'm really excited to see him fight again

jk
Sam took a serious beating. At the same he showed that he could take a punch, intelligently defend while rocked, and recover somewhat quickly.

Again, extremely impressive in making Hogar look like he didn't belong in the same realm as him...can't wait to see Machida again.

Hogar was a walking punching bag, that sums it up.

His striking is a thing of beauty. He doesn't have the lateral movement of Anderson, but he's good at getting in and out. He mixes up his strikes very very well. He has excellent TD defense. His conditioning is great. He has fast reflexes, and is good on the ground. His punching in this fight was nearly all linear, and from what I can remember he doesn't throw many hooks with that stance. His gnp is decent. Lyoto will be UFC champ. He will make quick work of Chuck, but have a little more difficult time with Rampage. The fight with Hoger was a clinic.
