Mir was on "Fight Club" tuesday on Sirius radio. He was asked about Kimbo. Few of his comments.

"If he can make a living fighting, more power to him."

"If he fought Lesnar, he would get destroyed. Lesnar would double leg him. Pound his face into submission."

"Elite needs to quit matching him up with guys that will stand in front of him."

I thought someof you would find these comments interesting.

I don't see Elite giving him a wrestler or BJJ guy any time soon. This guy is their cash cow and they need to beef him up as much as they can. He is training his ground game, but it's not on the level it needs to be to win fights with it. They will continue to give him lop sided matches untill his ground game is good enough to properly defend a take down. Untill then, look forward to a bunch of fights like Bo and Tank.

Kimbo needs to fight someone in the top 20 at HW or IMO he deserve zero creditability . I mean fighting Tank and Bo Cantrell doesn't really prove to much.

What Elite NEEDS is to protect their prospect by not giving him a bad style matchup until he is an established fighter. He mistook what elite NEEDS and what he wants to see.
UFC already made that mistake by giving a great prospect a bad style matchup before he was ready. Brock Lesnar vs Mir.
