Machida fans are like Celine Dion fans
The rest of us know (technically) she has a great voice (great skills, elusive, misdirection etc)
We know she probably has decent songwriters and talented backup band(coaching team,)
She sells tickets (Machida,in theory, can headline an event)
We understand and appreciate music / MMA (tell me I dont, I'll just laugh at you.)
BUT WE DONT HAVE TO ENJOY WATCHING HER AND ARE SICK OF HER FANS TELLING US WHY WE SHOULD LOVE HER.

I don't like Tito, but watching his fight with Lyoto I went for him.
Why?
He fought his heart out - he knew it was his last hurrah.
Lyoto ran away and landed some VERY limited (though admittedly effective offense).
Who you going to go for? a spirited, aggressive fighter,who wants to engage, fight and give the crowd a show or an 'elusive' brilliant fighter running around in circles avoiding everything fighting only to win not necessarily to finish?
