Why are people referring to the Greco fight so much when talking about Tito vs Machida? That fight is in no way similar at all. Greco was a HW and a VERY GOOD STRIKER. Is Tito a very good striker? no, hes a wrestler. Greco was not a big wrestler.

Machida will beat Tito convincingly imo. Tito doesn't have the stand-up to trade with him and hes gonna get caught with a couple trips throughout the fight and Machida will finish Tito from the top.

Good analysis of their styles and skills.

I'm very interested in seeing how Machida does against a strong wrestler like Ortiz. This is a big test for him.

Whilst both are fluid and dynamic, Machida's style is more evasive and based around stifling his opponent's offence, whereas Anderson simply imposes his will more directly. Thats what i feel at least. In any case, both top notch fighters, war Black House.

Agree'd, that about sums it up. Machida is a counter-attacker while Silva is content with rearranging your face by pushing the pace. They are both top strikers in all of MMA..

1.Anderson Silva
2. Lyoto Machida
3. CroCop

That is IMHO

Tito is going to have to do amazing feints to change level on Machida, his standup is going to have to be out of his world like Jenna's headjobs to change the direction of this fight. . . . However Machida is just to good IMO
