Machida is a TRUE MMA fighter. He has all the skills and doesnt rely on one aspect. He deserves a shot if he beats a very tough Thiago. And I see him beating Rashad.

I think Lyoto versus Machida would be a great fight at least he wouldn't be able to run away

Quinton has really worked on the 'punch really hard to the face' technique... Guess it payed off.

Evans is actually forced to be technical in his approach to stiking because of his body shape, believe me im the same height and weight as Rashad and when i was 20 and a Welter weight which is the same as Roy Jones when he was a MW (in boxing terms) i was alot better at hitting and moving with power and speed, now because of the compact weight i have i need to be alot more defensive and dont have the repetitive long range power i once had.

I think Rampage/Evans will sell more PPV than a Machida/Evans fight, on the same note...I think a Machida/Rampage fight would sell more (and be more exciting) than the Machida/Evans fight. You are right, a champ must be able to carry a PPV. It blows my mind that A Silva doesn't sell more PPV; the dude the probably the most exciting fighter in the UFC..anyways...I am a big Machida fan and would like to see him fight for the title if he wins against Thiago. But, I can understand matchmaking at the same time.
