I agree. However, alot of these people are actually implying that this fight should happen and even going soo far as to say that Brock would beat Fedor. This is just stuidity.
Fedor vs Brock would NOT be good for the sport of MMA, only a spectacle. MMA has enough spectacles (UFC ppv's).

This would not be a very stellar competition at the present time. Fedor is a master level mma fighter while brock is very young and learning the basics. In about two years I would love to see this match up. I would hope that in the next few years that brock finds a camp that can help him improve in all areas of the game. If he can become well rounded he may become someone we actually remember one day. Fedor would be someone he might turn to in the mean time for tips. If fedor trained lesnar a tad on the ground it would benefit him tremendously.

I think thats coo that Fedor liked what he saw from Brock, I think Brock did look very impressive in his last fight I think he impressed veryone only down side to tha fight is he didnt finish. Jus think how good he will be in a year or 2 now thats crazy! Fedor he's no way ready for Fedor noone in tha heavyweight divison is ready for Fedor. Tha only heavyweights thats close 2 Fedor is Nogueria ( but he's beat him 2 times already ), Arlovski ( maybe ), Barnett ( is probably tha only one that has tha best chance ), maybe Gonzaga and Antonio Silva ( in a few years or so ).

Yeah, Lesnar has TONS of potential, but he needs more seasoning before facing Fedor. I think he'll be challenging for the UFC title in a year due to its lack of talent at HW. I don't think he'd get knocked out (have you seen the size of the guy's head?!!!), most likely submitted.

Lesnar would get destroyed if he stood up and slugged it out with Fedor. He wouldn't see the punches coming, it would be just too fast. He's better off taking Fedor down, although its the lesser of two evils. Because Fedor is exceptional on his back.
We still dont know how good Brock Lesnar's stand-up is because he hasn't really shown it yet. But his massive reach, power and speed could potentially be very deadly.

Big guys are almost always universally useless on the ground against good grapplers. The way I see it is if Brock takes it to the ground he'll get subbed pretty quickly. Fedor's groundwork is just too strong.

Now the thing is Fedor's wild striking potentially has flaws which could land him in trouble some day. He leaves himself quite open alot of the times. Hong Man Choi for example really busted Fedor up in the stand up. If Brock places a well timed full power punch like Fujita did, together with his great wrestling he could win.

Unfortunately, the fight will never happen until Lesnar leaves the UFC or the UFC becomes "UFC/M-1"
Bingo.

UFC will have to compromise on some level in order for the fans to see the fights they want.
