Concerning (2): Let's not get carried away, he was just trying to answer the question. He'll be fighting talent when he resumes his fights with Affliction.

Brock's punch could probably send Fedor flying across the ring if it connects. As long as the fight stays on its feet Brock will give Fedor a headache.
lol stay on its feet? Fedor would hit him 8x before Brock could even throw a punch. Fedor is notorious in fighting guys in their own game. Fedor was the aggressor in stand up against known strikers Cro Cop and Hunt and did very well. He took Big Nog to the ground and dominated him there.

Lesnar would get destroyed if he stood up and slugged it out with Fedor. He wouldn't see the punches coming, it would be just too fast. He's better off taking Fedor down, although its the lesser of two evils. Because Fedor is exceptional on his back.

What???

Firstly... Hunt is a ferocious striker
Secondly... If the fight remains standing Brock will be getting the headache. He's not a striker. Thats why he didnt stand with Herring. That punch was well timed, but Brock was intelligent enough to not remain standing with Herring.

Right now, theres nowhere Brock can bother Fedor... ground or standing. A few years from now Brock can be very dangerous, but that game is ground and pound. Not standing...

Like who? Gonzaga has good bjj, Werdum has even better bjj, and Big Nog has amazing bjj! He should definatly fight Carwin and Cain before he even thinks about fighting Gonzaga, Werdum, or Big Nog.

Give Brock more of a chance before sending him against the best of all time. You can't compare Brocks win with Fedors over Heath. Sure they fought the same guy but it is under different rules and fighting environment.

I'm aware of that... but Its not about age... how long do you think Fedor will be fighting for? I say he's got maximum 2 years left. Staying at the top of the game for so long leaves very little motivation. If he loses a fight, things might get interesting... but the way things are going, he has maybe 5 fights left before he makes a move to film or more probably business ventures (in my opinion). Three of the most intelligent heavyweight boxers got out at the right time. Gene Tunney, Lennox Lewis and Wladimir Klitshko (though he might be returning against samuel peter), I say Fedor leaves Aleks to fight while he takes care of business..

Here's what we have to say: Fedor is smart enough to play up a potential fight with Lesnar because he knows how much money it would pull in. I think he's marketing himself to the UFC through that answer. Doesn't mean he thinks Lesnar is the shit though.
