Fighters with multiple careers. Everyone wants to be CroCop.

CroCop might be a one dimensional fighter, to some. But he has a very polyvalent career. He's in the government, even tho, I'm well aware, that he's not exactly a big-time politician. He's in the Croatian special forces, commando in the police. So he knows how to handle guns and shit. Had all the police training. Government plus police. Plus an impressive amateur career in boxing. Huge K1 star. Huge in Pride. No one will ever take away from him what he did in those 2 organizations. He was phenomenal. Too bad, something obviously didn't work in the UFC.

He's the guy everyone wants to be. Not some small lightweight fighter, or shit.

So, who else has a double career?

Too bad CroCop is Croatian, and unhyped. I hate hype, anyways. If he were American, he'd have the status of God by now. When you see what they've made of Couture and Liddell.

Plus he played in the Croatian first league of soccer. And starred in a b movie, lol.

Not just that, when a fighter comes from a small place like Croatia or such, and he is pretty much the only serious fighter coming from there, there is no huge camp behind him, big time coaches (talking about before not now), no full time training (he fought in K1 and PRIDE while being activly employed as a cop) than you understand what is takes to be him, being self tought, with a full time job, lifting wights he made out of concrete, wife and a kid, etc etc. IT is not like now where there are gyms and coaches everywhere, Tapout and other sponsors chasing you....too bad he drifted away from fighting into movies, opening a bar, possible retirement...but he acomplished alot given the circumstances.
