All he needs is a snazzy video package, and they'll cheer for him almost as much as they cheer for KenFlo. Hmm... Do you suppose DSE will let Zuffa use PRIDE footage?

Maybe I'm watching a different UFC from you guys, or my idea of "redneck" is waaaay different, but I really don't see a whole lot of "country folk" at UFC events. It seems moreso composed of frat-boys, their drunk girlfriends, and a handfull of sports-aficionados. I mean, every time they pan the audience at a UFC event, it seems a lot more like a Girls Gone Wild crowd than Larry The Cable Guy.

I've found, having gone to tons of Rodeos and stock car races over the years, that the stereotypical redneck is a pretty loyal and devoted fan, who follow their favorite sports pretty closely (sometimes moreso than other aspects of their lives).

You're probably right. I think the rednecks are a minority in the UFC audience. I see more spoiled rich kids who are drunk wanna seem cool by booing and screaming.
